LIPC MISSION STATEMENT 


The mission of the Long Island Parent Center of the Center for Community Inclusion LIU, is to provide parents of children with disabilities, in conjunction with the professionals who service their children, with information and resources necessary to promote meaningful involvement in their children’s education programs.

The mission of The Center for Community Inclusion is to provide families, educators, early interventionists, medical professionals, employers, and the community at large with resources to support individuals with disabilities in our schools, workplaces, residences, and places of leisure enabling them to become active members of their communities meeting their full potential in all aspects of life. The Center for Community Inclusion will provide students with exemplary programs enabling them to gain experience utilizing state of the art service delivery models.

Skip Closing Policy

Closing Policy

Please take note that Long Island Parent Center will be closed only when the Long Island University campus' are closed.  When we have a training scheduled off site and there is inclement weather, please call our main office # 516 589-4562 for an updated message regarding the training.  We try to maintain consistency and have all trainings as scheduled but will be careful not to put anyone at risk. Thank you and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience.
